I received an email from someone by an interesting name, ‘INSURANCE MAN.’ My expectation at that point was to get some introduction to an insurance policy. On the contrary, it was a request from Geoffrey Bowman to engage Muchiri Frames services to his forthcoming wedding. Bowman was preparing to tie the knot with his lovely fiancé, Shiprah Gituri.
‘We liked your work on Facebook and wish to have your quotation. And by the way, we liked your facebook page…haha… so don’t forget the 5% discount” said Bowman on the email. I must say these was a humbling feedback on the quality of our services.
I later met the couple 6 days to their wedding day, they had just flown in. Shiprah and Bowman are warm and great listeners…great traits combination…huh! Their love for God cannot go unmentioned. They would pray and thank God for everything about the day and their future …. from the various service providers, their family and guests to their future kids- even mentioning their names. That was cool…! Doesn’t happen alot in this side of the world…lol.
On the D-day, Shiprah and Bowman well connected with the crew. They gave us full support and this contributed in a big way to us capturing those amazing moments.
Muchiri Frames is honored to have offered photography services on your big day. We do wish you the very best in your marriage! Asanteni sana.
Here are some of those moments!
On the other side, the groom was sharpening his look….
Shiphrahs mom giving her to the grooms representatives…
With this ring!… I declare…
Then they sat and listened to the WORD!..
It was officially sealed before God and man….
Then the Bikers led us to SERENA where we had a fun filled location shoot!….
Bowman was introduced to the Kenyan “all time photo style”
To the reception…
Our team had made surprise t-shirts to tell them that this was very personal…
caption a song ….
Then the MC called for what always stuns me… “an old time dance”
On the right, Shiprahs Dad kept his chemistry in the dance….
Later that evening at THE SERENA!
Finally, the love I have for mirror photos made me forget that there was a suit case in my framing..haha.. I think its a good sign to say that we let them head for their honeymoon in peace… 😀 ………………… TO THE BOWMANS!… You guys are so far from us at the moment….but you will forever live in our hearts!.. May God bless your marriage, grow old together and come retire in Kenya.
To our readers, its always a pleasure hosting you for those few minutes, we really hope you enjoyed.
